Central American Boa Baby

Central American Boas can grow anywhere from 4 to 8 feet long and typically live up to 20 to 35 years with proper care. They require about 2-12 square feet of floor space depending on sex and size. For example, females tend to grow much larger than males and will need more room as they reach full size.
Their water bowls should be changed daily as clean water is imperative for boas. They aren't necessarily known to sit in their water bowls unless insecure about their surroundings but will sit in their bowls if they are having shedding issues (although still not very common). Their enclosures should be kept at the low to mid 80's (F) and should be provided with a basking spot at up to the mid 90's but no higher.
Boas eat mice and should be given the proper size of mouse about once a week. The size of the mouse depends on the age and size of the boa.
